A History of DICE

Back in June, Machinima posted videos from its “All Your History” documentary series, showcasing none other than DICE, developer of such titles as Battlefield, Mirror’s Edge, and, of course, the multiplayer component of Medal of Honor.
These videos cover the genesis and history of Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment, which started out as a group of students dubbed “The Silents,” who focused on creating PC demos. Eventually, one demo evolved into a proper game, Pinball Dreams, inspiring The Silents to become a proper development studio, making games for the masses as DICE.
