From MedalofHonor.com

We were at PAX Prime this past week, where we had a multiplayer demo, allowing anyone to check out Medal of Honor first hand. We know that not everyone could make it to the show, so we managed to take a few pictures to give everyone a glimpse of the booth for themselves. Be sure to head over to our Facebook page and check out the entire gallery.

We unveiled our third installment to our Medal of Honor Experience video series dubbed “High Value Target.” This video showcases a new map and some footage from our new Combat Mission mode, so be sure to check out the video below.

To compliment the video, Medal of Honor’s Matt Pruitt made a post on the official PlayStation Blog, explaining some of the things shown in the vid, so be sure to check out his post for some extra info and some specifics on our High Value Target vid. It's got a lot of great information you may not have realized, so be sure to take a look. It's a great read!

While we showcased the Combat Mission mode at PAX (along with our High Value Target video), we're aware that not everyone may have been able to check things out firsthand. That's why we posted an entire rundown of the Combat Mission mode on the Medal of Honor blog earlier this week. Everything you need to know is all in one handy location, so if you have any questions, head over to the blog post and check it out. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Alberto Diaz from BSCReview.com wrote up another Medal of Honor retrospective – this time for Allied Assault, the first PC game in the series. If you haven’t already seen it, this article takes a look at what made the game so great, even going on to say Allied Assault is the flagship title in the series to date on account of its refined gameplay, grand scenarios and slick expansion packs. While it's widely accepted Allied Assault is the best game in the series thus far, we’re working hard to make sure folks have a new number one Medal of Honor game when October 12 rolls around.

In a fairly hardcore move, Medal of Honor community member Psychoslasher shows his support for the series by getting a new tattoo of Medal of Honor’s Apache Gunfighter patch and posted an image of his new ink on the forums.

Apache Gunfighters patch.

Psychoslasher’s full tattoo.

“Just got it on Saturday. My friend did it for me. It's not perfect by far but hey it's something,” Psychoslasher said. We say: good skills, Psych! It’s an awesome tattoo and thanks for the show of support!

Is anyone else sporting tattoos within the Medal of Honor community? We'd love to see them! Whether it has to do with the game or the military, we'd love to check them out. Me? I'm planning on getting a tattoo of the Captain America shield soon -- what about you?

Around the Web

As long as we're on the subject of tattoos, Wired.com posted a series of images showcasing some of the art our troops are sporting abroad. There are certainly some great pieces in here, so be sure to check out the full story.

Dutch company ECA Program is hoping to reform a former USAF base into a private Top Gun school where “Western air forces can simulate dogfights with Russian jets.” If they’re really feeling the need (the need for speed), they’d better be sure to do it right and include a volleyball court so the students have something to do while they’re on the ground.

The Pentagon is trying to build a smarter robot. It’s true! In fact, Darpa scientists are trying to create robots that have “toddler-level intelligence” which will (in theory) allow them to learn. First, the robots will be able to repeat various motor functions they observe from their trainers, eventually leading to higher functions and thoughts. It’s pretty interesting, that’s for sure, and yet, I still have my doubts.
