Just recently, EA announced that the reboot of Medal of Honor was a big success with over 5 million copies sold. We wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for supporting us, our new studio and our storied franchise. We would especially like to thank all of the long time Medal of Honor fans out there who have stuck with us over the years.

GamesCom rages on and we have some behind the scenes info for those of you who couldn't attend.

Today was the opening day of GamesCom for consumers and they showed up in droves!

The weapon systems portrayed in Medal Of Honor are the weapons currently used by Tier 1 Operators in real world conflicts. The game developers have done a superb job in recreating the weapon systems including the insurgency equivalent.

The Medal of Honor beta is getting extended.

The MP7 has been unlocked in the Medal of Honor beta.

In today’s war, there is a new enemy, new weaponry and a new warrior built to tackle the toughest missions and harshest terrain. He is the Tier 1 Operator, and on October 12, 2010 Medal of Honor players will have a chance to step into the boots of this elite soldier.
